The picture was not clear and they said it was "very heavy" so I thought let's try it.
I checked a local shop too but 54mm was not available...

54mm is 2 1/8th of an inch. You should also be able to use a 55mm hex socket. However a Gedore socket and prybar will set you back 80 euro........

Few years ago we bought 55mm socket and are using it with air impact gun with no problems (1mm difference does not make any damage to the nuts) and works just fine. Using 55 because 54 was not available.

I have used RA seals with good results on my old FC, fast break-in.
But I have also read not to use the springs that comes with them if its for turbo, the constant pressure will make them soft and not seal so well.
Just use OEM Mazda springs, they are pretty cheaps

That's what I read as well.

What other resources are there for the apex seal springs, side seals, side seal springs, oil control rings (rotor) ... All rotor seals in fact, other than Mazda or Mazdatrix?

They are cheap, but u have to buy 6 short ones and 6 long ones and total gets you close to $60 which is not CHEAP if u consider those are only SPRINGS, while for $190 u get all apex seals + springs. However, i am going RA seals with Mazda OEM springs too
