Looks like that's going to be a standard picture of the Cabyy, trailer and yet another Rotary

what's the deal with this baby? parts car? donor for yet another one?
the real problem I have with that picture is that I want and old-style (aka pre RX-7) rotary more and more. I guess I need to get the RO80 started.

Err... it's not a rotary. It's a Mazda 1300SL coupé which shares the body with the R100.
It's only recently that I found out that Europe got the 1200SL/1300SL twin sister of the R100. I spend a lot of time on Australian and American websites and they did get the 1200 coupé but they didn't get the T type dash and the round taillights.
So I didn't know there was a piston car this close to the R100 !
The car even has the R100 grille with the R100 rotor shaped emblem !

Anyway, it will serve as a parts car for an R100 (once I get one :-)).

And, Werny, the picture was taken in Lelystad, NL.

The truck is a joke but the car is mine.
The real thing this time, an R100 !
I bought it based on pictures only and had it transported to my place from Switzerland.
Turns out nearly rust free (not a single hole found so far).

 

I could figure out you didn't get a truck, but congrats with the car!

 

OMG! Another one. That's some collection you are building right there Wim. If ever you're interested in an FC TII that won't start right now, with some nice upgrade parts ....
