Is anyone familiar with the laws?

Thanks.

Well, Germany, Swizz or Austria is not exactly central, its west europe

And they are luckier than we are, and could import and register cars even from Japan, so bringing FD should be no problem whenever its from Japan, UK or USA.
I suppose it all comes only to the question of money....

....And whether or not you can actually get it registered. German TUV is a bitch if you can't go through the US military to register.

Is there age restrictions? For example in Canada the car must be at least 15 years old to be imported from anywhere but the US.

Also, why would it take alot of money? Why not simply follow the regular way of doing it and ship it to a port, then overland to your destination, and register it normally. Are there hidden fees?

Thanks
