What I read was 25 years old (from the manufacture date) or if it's on the list I saw which I believe the FD is on. If the car is on that list you can ship it to an authorized importer to modify. So you should be able to bring an FC?

I'll do more research if I ever get orders back to the states which I don't see happening any time soon.

I've been up to Aviano a few times and all I saw was the black R32.

I don't know about up there but the car scene down here is non-existant.
What do you have for sale? Let me know and I might pick up a few things from you

Also, I'm down to go to Monacco sometime, how much are the tickets? I have yet to meet this other guy with the Montego Blue FD. I need to find a rotary specialist here!!!

pretty much the entire drivetrain and wiring harness. To be honest I'm not 100% sure what the engine has. I bought the car from an auction last year. I can take a few pics of the engine bay so you can maybe spot some things. I do know it has a Panspeed elbow with two injector provisions. From what I hear thats a decent part? I more fimilar with the S13/S14 scene than FC/FDs

true and true. It's a huge headache and I changed my mind. My FC is going to be shipped from texas to italy then back to texas when I'm done here.

AFAIK, there are 4 FD's on Aviano. I haven't met the guy in the MB one, but I've seen the other 2. I need to meet them all. FC's included, RX-8 guys too if they're around.

Alright just got back from the gym and stopped by the grab and go and decided to look for the red FC my coworker was talking about. Sure enough I found a red possible N/A S5. Had to leave a note so hopefully he/she doesn't think I'm a stocker.

No way I need this info too.

Haha I stopped by your shop after driving around looking for it only to realize it's right behind my dorm. I'm sure the people there will tell you I stopped by.

It's near Bologna, not so far from you. Send me more info on the other FD in Sacile, and I take the phone number of him I want one
He's an old mecanich, he was one of the 3 that rebuild the rotary engine in Italy, and pretty sure the man who had done most. My 2friend with FD goes there from 10year. He was in Mazda from the beginnin, when it was imported by a small company in Italy, 20years ago, and Mazda Motor Italy was just as dream.

Haha, are you wanting to meet up? Where are you at? I need more contact info for this guy if possible. Who are your friends with the other FD's? We should all get together, there are 3 more FD's on base here, a red FC, and Riklusion. A couple of RX-8's as well. I would love to get a good rotary group going if possible.

In my opinion the JDM FDs that are always imported to the UK are the best way to get one. As far as I know we(us forces) are not allowed to sell our vehicles to Italian nationals.

I'm not trying to sell mine just yet. But then again, for the right price, everything is for sale.

Wow, I haven't been on this forum for quite some time. I have been here in Aviano for 6 years, but my engine blew 3 days after getting it off the boat... so it was down for 1 year. But I've been driving it about once a week to Aviano for the past 5 years.
I'm the guy who had the note left on the car by the tower (Guess that was you OriginalFake2), and talked to another FD person last week at the gym.
Let me know when and if anyone wants to have a rotary day and we can compare what we got. There are many questions I ask myself like, "is that normal?".
