I left my FC at home because I thought I could buy a JDM car here and ship it back. Still trying to figure things out but looks like I might have my FC shipped here after all. I've only seen a green FD and I met the driver at the gym(possibly you).

Definitely. His doesn't have the 99 spec bumper but he came from japan so it's JDM and I'm not sure of his rank but he just got here recently too. Haha I am just an Amn so everything I expect ends up being wrong.

No sorry there were no formalities when I met him. Kinda walked up to him and did the whole "is that your car" thing. I see his FD every other day either at the gym or driving around or at the commissary.

 

You should see around 7 or 9 FD's in Sicily at the end of March as they will be coming from Malta !

Sicily? That's so far away! I have only seen one other FD on base and it's a stock green one. I'm at the commissary and gym on the daily too.

 

Dang I never see you and I work right across from the gym. I see the skylines and green fd just about everyday now. I was told today there is a red fc somewhere but i think the guy is just a fool and saw the red 944.

 

Hey I'm down in Camp Darby (Pisa) and have a '93 FD that will be going under the knife for an LS1 shortly. The 13b is losing a liter of coolant a day. I think it may just be the turbo coolant hoses... anywho, if any of you guys need anything off the engine let me know.

I've been up to Aviano a few times and all I saw was the black R32.

I don't know about up there but the car scene down here is non-existant.

 

D: that's sad tony but if you must good luck with your project. the car scene is dead here too but once i get my car i'll be trying to go to the rally events more often. it's kind of odd without my car but if y'all want a car guy to talk to i'm around.

 

Yeah man, I might try and catch Rally Sardigna in May if I can convince some people to go.

I thought about F1 Monaco but the ticket prices are insane.

 

I thought you cant bring back JDM cars to the USA unless its a racecar or is on this list http://icsw.nhtsa.gov/cars/rules/import/elig092210.pdf and must later get it modified to conform to our rules here. I plan on moving to Italy in a couple years and am going to be bringing my RX-7 with me.
