I don't know about Canada, but the first Wolf3D 4.0 EMS units arrived in the USA about 2 weeks ago, and the software arrived a few days ago. This was a very limited shipment to dealer and racer beta testers only. It will probably be a few more weeks before the dealers can set retail pricing because the wholesale pricing and shipping costs are yet to be determined. A ballpark figure is between $1,200 and $1,500 USD, depending on the options.
You should be able to install it in your car by yourself. Your wiring skill is more important than your automotive knowledge. Your automotive knowledge will be required for the tuning, which is a lot easier than the other EMS units IMO, but will still require a lot of tuning know-how on your part.

I looked at the software for the first time today, and it is really nice. It uses Windows-type subdirectory folders for keeping all the options organized, and it still retains the easy-to-use icons on the top of the screen for the ignition and fuel maps.

Where is the best place to buy it? I've seen the price 1300, does that include the hand controller? Can you monitor with it like the pfc commander?
The info I can find searching using google hasn't been as forthcoming as I'd like as that word is too common
Thanks
