In order for my car to idle with a newly installed TEC3, my primary injector millseconds is around 2.1, this is with supposedly 1200cc injectors on a mild street ported 13b 1993 rx7 with 45 psi static fuel pressure.

Can anyone post what ms you need to idle and what size primary injectors you are using?

what does it do if you try to idle it with less then 2.1 ms?

 

Anything under and the car will cut off on me. Then gets hard to restart. The question was really posed to figure out if the primary injectors I have are really 1200's. I bought these injectors a while back, over 2 years ago.

I figured if I knew what milliseconds a 1600's idles at and what millisecond an 850cc idles at (taken into account porting etc) I could figure out my injector size to see if it is accurate.

If you run the injector below it's dead time it won't be happy...

Pull the injector out and tell me what brand it is and what numbers you see on it and we could figure out what it is...
