Is there a Palm OS compatable ECU software

just curious, I searched all over the web, and a co-worker says there is such available for his DSMs ECUs.

It'd be great to be able to use say, a Sony Clie, just for the ECU rather than a somewhat clunky laptop. maybe like a more advanced commander ala PFC.

No, I don't think so, I haven't even heard of one for DSM users.

There's the Pocketlogger for the DSM, but that just plugs into the diagnostic port of a DSM for logging. You don't tune anything with it, but it's a great tool to have for tuning your car.

And, no, it won't work on an RX-7.

Most "tablet" PCs within the past 5-7 years can run Windows 95. Usually those things have seriel or // ports on them. Some have usb.

The problem becomes batteries will be just as expensive as a used unit from Ebay.
