Swapping out PFC
Hey all,
Would this work for smog purposes:
Swap my PFC out by putting back in stock ecu. I have larger secondaries, but for smog test purposes(idle and 2500 rpm) they never are used, right? Even w/ DP, IC, intake, exhaust, the stock ecu should be fine for test, right(I past 2 years ago w/ stock ecu, intake and exhaust)? I have already past the visual and can even swap the ecus right there at the station . Will this work? My PFC alone is too rich and while I do want it tuned properly, it seems I have very few places to do this and nothing in the immediate timeframe.
If this works, then I dont need to find a shop to pass me for $$$. This is the next best thing(the shop I used even tried to tune my PFC at the test).
Also, anyone have a datalogit and wideband that wouldn't mind helping me tune my car?
Thanks,
Steve
