Stock 87 TII ECU/Injector Question.

Whats up.
I just got done dropping a motor into my car, 87 T2, but she wont start. The harness was crumbling during the process so I did some investigating....

I took a multimeter to the injector wires, and I am getting 12V to both wires, to each injector.
Is this correct?

Thanks.

Yes.&nbsp There are "pull down" units which take a ground pulse to open them.

Thanks Ted.
And also, maybe you can tell me if my ECU is malfunctioning.

I took a voltmeter to the injectors wires, and on one occasion it gave no power at all. Then in a few hours it have 12V to only one wire per injector. Then the next day it gave 12V to each wire.

I made sure I had correct grounds and that each reading was correct.

any ideas?

I basically rewired the harness; I removed a portion of the injector wires and used newer connectors.

Thanks.
Justin
