should i get an m2 reprogrammed ecu??????
i have a 93 fd and have downpipe, cat and catback and need a new ecu because i'm running 15 lbs. of boost. i have been told my best option is to send my factory computer to m2 and for $650 they will reprogram it to do what i need it to do? is this the best option or should i buy some other brand?thanks
Hi jaydogg,
I used to have an M2 ECU. Ran really well. It was tuned on the rich side for obvious safety reasons. It should be fine for the mods you have currently, but once you start adding more stuff, it will need to be re-tuned on occasion to adjust the maps. I don't remember what M2's policies are on free upgrades. Might want to call them. Then there's always an ECU replacement like a Power FC, Haltech, etc. Tuning isn't that hard once you get the hang of it.
