SDS engine management system

Anyone have any comments to make about this system? Good? Bad?

I know Carlos Gonsolaz (spelling?) uses this on his Rotary (RX-3?) in IRDC drag events and is one of the fastest of his class.
$763 is the price for the kit needed for a rotary engine

I realy like it. Its realy easy to use. Only bad thing is it does'nt control spark. But if you're slapping it on a 1st gen, it would be realy nice. CJ

The lack of timing control is the only thing stopping me from running their system, I have been to the SDS shop, and had some good conversations with them, they are top knotch guys, and will bend over backwards for their customers, if you are willing to run a distributor, thier system would be a good one to get..Max

What are the downsides of running a distributer? Is not running one worth the $400 usd to step up to a haltech?

From what i understand, you'll get around 10-12 more hp, and better fuel milage. Dist. are'nt bad, but i'd wrather have some type of adjustable ing. timing curve. CJ
