S6 and S7 ecu question

Hi all,

This might be a strange question but what are the steps to make a S7 fit a S6 ecu? Would the whole car have to be rewired with S6 wiring or can just some of the connectors be modified?

Thank you!

why would you do that? the newer ecus are WAY better.

minimum you need some kind of adapter, like an HKS F-con harness, but with the correct ends on it. plan on spending $200 USD and a few nights wiring it all up. money much better spent going the other way, 99+ ecu in an earlier car

The reason I asked is that there's someone locally interested in purchasing my S6 adaptronic but is curious if he can fit it in his S7. Thanks for the reply!
