What is an Rtek, I thought it was some kind of ecu, but I have been seeing people listing their mods, for example, someone will say they have an Rtek 1.7 and an Apexi SAFC. I don't understand why you would have both? Why the combo?

It's a chipped stock ECU. Sometimes people want to run bigger injectors than 720 cc secondaries so then they would need a AFC to adjust for different fueling. Stock secondaries are 550 CC for (s4/s5 turbos), the Rtek will let you run 720cc secondaries--anything bigger and you need a AFC.
