Rtek 2.0

Just wondering if anyone has been selected for the testing of the Rtek 2.0? If so how is it? I am very interested as I have a 1.7 right now. Well if anyone has any info let us know. Also I heard there is some option where it will work with a wideband...?

Sorry still got 400 miles to go to finish the break in on my new motor. Although Brian said a guy with the Stage 2 was running like 12.2 on pump gas and street tires. So I dont know. I do know I could beat 03 ZO6 Vette with the old Jspec motor I had last yr though and the stage 3 on pump gas and street tires. Either way its plenty fast for me,at the moment anyway. I did not have the 1.7 mod last year though so I cannot help you much there. I do not know that the computer mod like that will help so much for speed as it will for relaibility and engine safety.

No if you are completly stock you would not need a SAFC. I know last year I was running negative on my SAFC with the stock ECU. This year with the 1.7v I have had to add fuel somtimes up to around 15% in the higher RPMs and this is at 10psi and lower. I am guessing it is because the program for the 720s really cut down on the amount of fuel from when the computer was programed for the 550s. With all that said the SAFC would help to fine tune, you may run a bit rich but that would be about it. Anyway if you plan on staying stock just run the stock ECU. If you plan on modding get a SAFC along with the 1.7v. I believe Rtek is planning on some exciting stuff in the near future for our cars. I have heard rumors of a auto tune feature with a wideband and they are working on ditching the restrictive MAF. So I plan on just upgrading my ECU and mods as Rtek advances its technology. Hope this info helps.
