Hey everyone..

ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT RE AMEMIYA ECU UPGRADES??

I am about to buy a used RE Amemiya ecu.

Never heard anything about them..
I only heard of M2 and Pettite.

Anyone have any experience or INFO concerning
this ECU??? Should I buy or NOT?

One thing that you have to understand about Japanese ECU is that they are programmed for higher octane. So if you use it, beware. You might blow your engine because your using a lower grade gas.

Really??

the person selling it to me told me the opposite.
That in Japan the highest octane gas they can buy is
89 octane, so all the racers use octane booster.
Hmmmm
Does anyone know RE AMEMIYA's web site or LINK?
so i can read on their ECU's....

SO think this Amemiya ECU worth buying???
someoen help Asap..

I'm pretty sure. Their octane is up in the 100's. Don't know the exact range, but it's really high.

i have heard that japan has 100 octane but its rated differently and is more like the 94-96 octane we have here.

yes that's what I heard when I was in Korea there regular gas was 96 something but actually it's like 87 in north america..
just different measureing method.
