Programming Power FC? How To.

Does anyone know how the power FC should be properly programmed? Should the ECU be taken out and shipped to a Apexi dealer then sent back or should it be programmed on the car? I have this question as there is no one in BC, that is an authorized Apexi dealer and some shops just say drop it off and they will play with it. I don't need so idiot screwing around with it and blowing the engine up. What do you guys think?

Since the ECU has to be tuned for your mods and Engine, sending it to someone to tune sounds like a Really bad idea.

You need to go and Fly Someone out to a local Dyno that can do this or ship your car away and wait... but under no circumstances would I ship the ECU and expect miracles, especially on how sensetive Rotaries are...

First of all mistake #1 is living in Canada. It's too cold and too sparsely populated. In the states you're never far from your local PFC tuner. My suggestion would be to get dataloggit and find a map with all your mods plus one or two. If the map is set up for more mods it will likely be richer than you need. From this rich map you can go to a dyno and lean it out to an acceptable level balancing safety and horsepower in a judgement call only you should make.

go down oregon and get Xcessive Motorsports to do it, they have many hours of experiences with apex. Don't send it anywhere, you probably won't get it back.
