Power FC boost and fuel cut off help!
Power FC boost and fuel cut off help!
Ok, I will try to detail as closely as possible. On my Power FC under boost settings it has program 1 and 2. Lets use program 2.
It has a line for primary turbo and secondary turbo. next to that is a number you can set which is a pct? it ranges from like 80 to 95 and increments in 5's. then to the right is another number than increments in 2's. I was told that the one that increments in 5's is the fuel cut off and the other is boost.
Now with that said, lets pretend the above is correct and I have my boost set at .72, does that not mean .72 * 14.7=10.58 lbs of boost that should be running? It doesn't seem to coorespond to my boost gauge. Also, I can have my pimary and secondary set the exact same and my secondary turbo seems to always have higher boost according to my gauge. The other thing is, If I want to cut my fuel at 12.5 so I am safe if it spikes past that, how do I do that?
I know this must sound stupid, but I am going to the track tonite and dont want to pop my motor! Thanks so much!

What I would do is set your boost cut to the desired amount. Then start turning your % up until you get the desired boost(remember, this is sometimes dependent on load...3rd gear runs is what I use, but you should try 4th gear runs since you have more road than us guys in Okinawa).
