Please help with this question

I may be an idiot, but I am still learning. I am going to take out my engine in the near future and get it rebuilt and get the turbo's rebuilt. The engine will be street ported with 3mm apex seals, the turbo's may also be ported. I am looking with going with an intercooler (Stock mount), downpipe, midpipe, apexi intake and maybe new injectors. I have the confidence and knowledge to do the engine replace, but I am worried about the computer aspect of the whole project, I don't know if I will tune it right and run it lean or too rich, Am I making this more difficult than it really is? Is there a computer out there comewhere for me, if so, could you name it or a few choices. I just didn't want to go to all the work with replacing the engine and have it "blow up" because of an ecu problem. Hope that you have some good comments for me. Thanks a bunch.

if you are not confident in your ability to tune internal combustion engines then leave it to professionals. there is no harm in having qualified tuners setup your new engine. just figure this cost into your rebuilt and ECU upgrade budget. this will save you thousands of dollars down the road. buy the ECU of choice from a reputable shop and have them tune it. installation can be done by you, but you may want them to do that also. there is not a computer out there that will tune the engine for you. some may help you more than others but some advanced engine knowledge will still be needed. good luck

Get a good tuner to explain it to you or make sure you get very good support when you try this...
