is the pettit ecu compatible with the automatic?

 

There's been tons of threads started about this, but hopefully i can sum it up for you... In brief, no it is not 100%compatible. Mainly because the stock ECU controls all the auto tranny functions, ie, hold, lock-up, shift maps, etc. The flip side to this is that the auto tranny will work without an ecu... but not optimally, as you lose the above functions.


If you are still interested, do a search theres much more info... running 2 ecus in parallel, etc.
