Peter Farell PMS is it good??
Is this a good piggy back? Anybody out there run this? What HP u running about?
Also i have a G-Force upgraded ECU, u think i would get a better perfomance using the g-force w/ the PMS, or really there is no much of a gain from the factory ECU and PMS.
Thanks

I believe the general consensus is that they are not very good. They provide limited resolution in tuning. But I also think that they are particularly good on automatics because there are fewer options available to those that want to retain all of the automatic functionality. I don't have an auto, so I don't know the details. If you get the ACQ software (I think that's what it's called), it does allow you to tune parameters and/or resolution that is not available on the keypad (I don't know the specifics).
That being said, I have a PFS Purple computer. It did allow me to tune the fuel and ignition maps to deliver enough fuel to run at around 14PSI. It made a big difference, but I did not dyno it to measure the difference.
The most important thing is that I'm in PA and I'm selling mine with the keypad ($500), so it is obviously I think the PFS is the best thing for you to buy

PFS PMC
I am replacing my PFS PMC with an Apexi PFC. The PFS was OK until I added my upgraded turbo. It is not able to compensate for the additional PSI and goes into max boost cut. It does not do it all the time, but you can not predict when it will happen. Last time was when I was passing on a two lane road with traffic approaching.

I think the thing works pretty well. Not for a single turbo of course, and it won't let you run more than 17 lbs. (so I have been told) but check out my times in my signature. If anybody has run faster with a cat, I haven't heard about it.
I also like the three settings. On setting 1 I get through Maryland emissions, a pain-in-the-*** dyno test, with a down pipe and ported motor and high flow cat. I run setting 2 with pump gas for day to day at 12-13lbs and setting 3 on race gas at 16-17 lbs.
With the Interaq software you have full data logging capabilities on a laptop. It's not the latest, greatest whizbangy and it does not have the resolution of some of the newer systems, but it's enough for a 12 second street legal stock sequential twins car -and probably the 11s shortly.
Since it's a piggy-back you still have your factory ecu running the rest of your car so tuning headaches are minimized. And the price is right.

Thanks for all u guy info, i think im gonna go fully stand alone. Since i already have single turbo, PFS intercooler, 3" full exhaust...and so on.
I'm gonna post a thread of which ECU is better? The AEM or Power FC. See you there if you have any input.
