So wait, just to clarify, with the MT-8 you can run on the stock coils, but with the MTX-8 you need to run the Bosch coil packs?

... and to make the question easier possibly, will a S4/S5 CAS fit into a 12A? I'd suspect it would but...

<edit> And duh, that first question got addressed. Heh heh...

Mt-8 uses factory ignaters and coils, MTX-8 has built in ignaters and uses any after markert coil that is fired by ignater, the bosch coils are used by 95% of people with a MTX, lots of 10-9-8sec cars using them here.

yes a crank angle sensor will fit a 12a, my engine has a 12a timing cover and a series 4 crank angle sensor

where should i find the specs of lt8 or ltx8?do they manage trailing ignition and staged injection?
