From what I have been reading it seems that a mega squirt can be configured to do just about anything an e8 does.

Am I missing something.

Any pros and cons of both would be appreciated.

Obviously you have to do a bit more work to get a megasquirt running but at the same time it is significantly cheaper and repairable.
