M2 ECU's are good. From what I've heard, their are a little more conservative than other reprogrammed ECU's like Pettit.

M2 does not recommend using midpipes with their ECU's. However, many people have done it. Just be prepared to deal with boost creep with an open exhaust. An ECU can't help if your wastegate is overrun.

you can pick up a used m2 ecu for around 400-500. that's probably the best deal out there considering a power fc costs 3x as much and would require dyno tuning to optimize its performance. just don't stick a midpipe on with the m2.

Unless they're doing something different now, the M2 ECU *IS* a stock ECU...its just had its program ROM modified.
