Knight Sports ECU

I was on e-bay browsing around when I saw an listing for a knight sports ECU chip by some guy named JAPANDY. It was like 30 bux so I decided to purchase it. I paid the guy and got it shipped to my house. To my dismay, it wasn't a real Knight sports chip and it didn't have any specs on it. I messaged the guy back and he told me it was the exact same specs as a knight sports stage 1 chip. Does anyone know what like boost limit and such is? I don't trust the guy because he's telling me its a 14 psi boost limit with no rev limit. I want to try it out but I don't want to screw my car over. Otherwise its a waste, I bought it and its been sitting in my drawer...

actually I was planning to buy that chip but I found used PMS so I passed on it.
I emailed that guy a couple of times and every time he answered with good info.

what I found is that chip is copied knight soprts chip so I think It is exactly same programed chip without sticker and serial number..
but he didn't know what is this chip good for and boost etc.
and I searched japaness site for more info and looks like alots of people do this business.even you can buy piggy back board for 60bucks..suprise..

BTW he said this chip doesn't require piggyback board.

thanks

JAPANDY...that name sounds familiar. A friend of mine talked about this guy before. Said something to the effect that he sold him something, and it turned out to be the product, but it was not in the condition that he had originally said it was in. A few other people as well. Mainland Japan, and not Okinawa also. I don't trust him

I just checked that sellers feedback:
http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAP...userid=japandy

He has ZERO negative comments.
He does have 7 NEUTRAL comments.
2x no response to e-mail
one response about a stuck BOV
one response about a missing manual
one response about a a used part
2x buyer had to clue how to complete transaction

<RANT>
If you guys are bitching about his shoddy transaction, why isn't this being files in the feedback section???&nbsp The eBay feedback system is there for a reason and is probably the most powerful "tool" to dissuade potential customers from a potential sale.&nbsp If you're not satisfied and the seller won't resolve, LEAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK.&nbsp eBay now has a system where the seller can offer a counter comment to your negative feedback, so it doesn't look one-sided anymore.&nbsp Gee, with this much negative comments, I'd expect at least ONE negative point on this guy's record.
</RANT>

Right now his record looks pretty damn clean if you just look at his feedback...

You got me Ted? My conclusion was made with secondary information, not from personal knowledge. But my friend has always been a very honest person, and I had a biased opinion of him.
