I just installed my J&S Safeguard (new style without map sensor) and in the manual it says that the run light will light up when the leading coil fires so it glows dimly when your cranking it and once started it's a bright solid light. Well mine lights up as soon as you turn the power on and stays that way. Checked to see it the leading plugs were firing by unplugging the harness and it idle poorly (just trailing plugs) Drove it and runs fine so I set the sensitivity on it during a test drive works great but I'm wondering about the light. Called J&S but no answer.

My "original" version lights up as you crank then turns off.
