I was wondering what to do to set up a regular distributor ignition for my American FC S5 13B. I plan on going megasquirt for the ECU, and it cannot use the CAS signal to control the spark.

I heard that the European model of FC RX-7 had a distributor, is this true? Would it work for me?

Anyone else have any ideas for controlling spark?

Grab a distributor from a 12A - it all interchanges.

Next step is to find out how to make my CraneCams unit work with it and go direct fire ignition. (common FB mod, apparently)
