Hi everyone, this is for any of you out there that have, or have had a G Force ECU in the past. I was wondering if anyone has ever opened it up and actually saw whats different. I recently bought one from somenoe here on the forum and I want to make sure it really is a G Force. Anyone have pics of the inside of one or could you tell me what the "new chips" have labeled on them. I only really notice one chip that is different and it has Rick Stiles Supercars labeled on it, does that tell anyone anything?? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!

i know that the pettit ecus have an extra board in there that the stock ecus dont have. its below the factory board. i've heard that g-force reprograms the ecus that pettit sells as thier own. i would think that you should have an extra board in your ecu as well.

since you mention the Rick Styles chip, and sine i remember seeing an ad on here or the partstrader recently with a Rick Styles ecu FS, i would bet that you have a rick styles ecu. mabye the guy couldn't get it sold as a rick styles unit so he told you it was a g-force?

in any case, i highly doubt that rick styles mods any ecus in house. it may be the case that rick styles sells renamed g-force ecus as well. why dont you call rick styles supercars and ask them how you can identify if its one of thiers.

while you're at it, ask rick whats up with the 20B FD drag car he had. is that thing ever gonna hit a track again?

Well I am returning it to the seller, aparently he too was lied to about what kind of ECU he really had?? He's cool though, said he would refund me. THanks for the info though,
