HKS rom chip

I was planning to go with a standalone ecu but decided against it. I'm just going to play it safe for a while and just drive my car. What I have decided to do is upgrade my fuel system, and make a FMIC. I'm going with a FD fuel pump and some 720cc secondaries. I already have; HKS pfc fcon with the "mild" upgrade chip designed for stock fuel system, full exhaust, ported turbo, 3" TID, cone filter. My question is, will the hks rom chip that was designed for the hks sport turbo and sport intercooler work with my upgraded fuel system, even though I won't have a sport turbo? And also where can I find the different rom chip?

Speed-density ECU's do not automatically compensate for engine changes. The more you depart from what the ECU thinks are the engine's parameters, the more out of tune it will be.

so upgrading my fuel system and the ROM chip wouldn't be a very good idea but would work?

It depends how you define "work". Yes, the engine will run, but it may or may not be tuned for safety, performance, and/or drivability. I personally don't like the idea of having somebody tune a chip based solely on what mods you tell them you have, but at least that is better than buying some generic chip and larger injectors in the hope that they will approximate a tuning solution for your car.

If I get the chip and a GCC or whatever controller that acts like an SAFC do you think that would work well?
