i just got the 89rx7 for 2 month and the engine blown,, is there anyway to swap a v6 engine in it? instead a rotary? cuz rotary is hard to fix?(that is what i heard.)

 

Of all the different sections of this forum, why did you choose the engine management section to ask a question about putting a V-6 into a RX-7?

EDIT: never mind, I see you are new here. Well, hi. Your question is better asked in the 2nd Generation section cause your RX-7 is a second generation (86-91). and if someone asks what series it is, its a series 5. (series 4, or S4 is 86-88, S5 is 89-92). This section is for stand alone engine management system questions.

The short answer to your question is Yes. You can swap any engine into the 7, but the degree of difficulty will vary based on the engine cause there is going to be some fabrication work required.
