haltech vs megasquirt
let the argument begin. i am beginning a build on my turbo s4 FC and it is all going to start with the engine management. first of all, the build is going to include a gt35 kit from a-spec, 15 psi normally, 20 psi on the strip, injectors are open to speculation right now, FMIC, deleted AFM, street port, and stock internals. this will be a sunday driver, but i still want it to be daily-dependable. my budget isn't really a huge deal here, since i want the engine management to be reliable whether cheap or expensive.
let me know what you guys think or what you are running and any issues/praises that you have for either system.

i know tuners for either ecu, that is why i have these two in mind. i know a guy here in town that has had really good luck with the MS ecu and i know a place not too far out of town that loves the haltech. all that i am really trying to achieve is to safely run a gt 35 kit. the hp numbers will just be a by-product of a good tune. i didn't come up with this based on what i have read on the boards. the haltech is proven technology that will achieve my goals and the MS boards that i have seen installed locally are running really well. i haven't considered anything else other than these two and the rtek. rtek because it is plug and play, but doesn't have the features that i want.
