Haltech vs. Link Questions???
I am trying to decide between these two ecus for my fd with a single turbo. I am interested in the ps1000 and I like the g4 rx. I dont have an issue with wire ins, its not as hard as most would think, of course I am a general contractor with some electrical background...
these are the pros i can think of off hand:
ignition can be upgraded by adding coils, no need for amplifier
more capable tuners in my area than for a pfc
no need for an adapter box to connect to a laptop to tune(datalogit)
i can run integrated boost control (i know pfc does this, i was just never comfortable with it personally)
tons of inputs
also, i can set up my own AI kit.
basically i sold my pfc, datalogit, twin power, and am currently selling my boost controller and my new AI kit so I can buy a newer ecu.
any input on which ecu and why would be helpful, including cost, best places to purchase perhaps, or maybe a recommendation of another link or haltech ecu. im not looking to go motec or anything like that. I'd like to stay under the 2k mark so any help would be awesome.
