when i purchased the car the last owner gave me a ecu that was remanufactured by G-Force. ive been trying to find out more about the ecu like how its upgraded and not having much luck. i cant even find a web site for them. or any way to contact them to find out what this ecu has been tuned for. any help is appreaciated.

The company who used to program GForce ECU's for the FD isn't around anymore. They are basically a remapped ECU like the M2.

 

I haven't been able to find much on gforce, other than a lot of posts about, "I have a gforce ecu, etc. etc." from other boards. ERC or Elite Racing Corporation, on the other hand, is a japanese tuning company. Judging from their website, they no longer due redoms (reprogrammed stock ecu's) and only deal with Apex'i PFC's or HKS F-Cons.

 

the guy i purchased it from said it was tuned for full exhaust, cold air, intercooler and to run at 14.5psi, i have done all of those bolt ons and i would very much like to confirm this before i start to up my boost. i would assume that a remanufactured ecu would have a boost cut defencer up grade?

 

it would have been done by a japan co named techtom. if you can read in their langauge and have your computer setup to handle their type set you should be able to get the info your looking for.
