g-force ECU

I am in the market for a FD, and the one I am looking at as an intake, BLitz boost controller, and a full Apexi cat-back exhaust. the research I've done so far has beat into my head that the Wankel motor is extremely sensitive to detonation, thus making tuning super-duper critical. The car has a G-force ECU on it. Is this just a piggy-back? Or is it a standalone? am I able to change parameters/settings, or does it do it automatically? Should i think about going to a standalone? I have a 2000 Subaru 2.5RS and from what I know of tuning that car, standalones can be a pig PITA. Perhaps there is more time/knowledge/R&D with Rx7 standalones? Help! I don't want to blow up the motor of the beautiful car. Thanks a lot.

you cannot change the perameters of a gforce ecu...its a stock upgrade...different chips and different fuel curve....its possible to send it to the company that bought gforce and have them reprogram it for yu though.

it worked for me...but when I went with more mods I sold it for 350 bucks and got a power fc.
