the only thing im trying to do is get the car running with the exception of intake and a cat-less pipes ive looked up mad info on wiring splices and im thinking a aftermarket ems would be an easy fix vs hacking the wiring

if you already have the S5 motor you can do this to get it to run.Get rid of the s5 engine harness(emissions stuff, rat nest.boost selenoid),Swap your stock tps on to the S5 motor, swap the temp sensor or just swap the plug for your stock one, disconect the resistor pack and cut the plug and solder the five wires together,Get a set of block off plates to delete all the emissions stuff and oil metering pump and you should be ready to install the motor, you need to get a S4 T2 FLOW METER,S4 T2 MAP and ECU(CHEAP ITEMS POSTED ALL THE TIME IN THIS BOARD)now using your stock engine harness plug the, tps.coolant, oil, air, map, flow meter and ecu and the motor should run.You need to run premix or you can swap a S4 T2 front cover and OMP,sounds like a lot of work but its easy if you do things only one at the time and without rushing everything

Probably would be easier to get the right harness for your s5 engine and then plug up a PFC to it.

If you can't get a harness then you can do as outlined above.
