which ecu should I get??

I have a r2 with the following engine mods:

catback
downpipe
efini y-pipe
greddy smic
hot air intake (i'll probally replace this with a cold air box)

I dont want to run lean, so I am considering getting a ECU replacement. Which one is the best for my mods? I was considering the Power FC, but dont know if I can afford it. What other ECUs are cheaper but would work? Would a AVC or something like that work?

thanks

You can usually find some Remapped ECU's on www.thepartstrader.com or just get the PFC without the commander its about 800 bucks alone. Used ECU's are going for about 500 used but you never know what your getting when you buy used from someone. Also the PFC is tunable unlike the remaps. Good luck and get an ECU before you blow it up. thats even more expensive.

I totally agree with everything said. But, if you're like me and have had programable fuel inj, and don't want to deal with it on your daily driver/weekend driver i would say go with the Pettit ecu or m2. I payed around $500 for mine, and only have positive things to say about it. CJ

The pettit or m2 ecu sounds like the logical approach. But I like button and lcd screens, so I think im gonna get the Power FC. I think i can afford it if give up eating dinner for a couple of months.
