e-manage questions

hmm....if u have a e-manage u most likely know the software upgrade 1.25/1.47 allows u to tune/log the A/F using the optional sensor... if u dont know what im talking about

http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/ind...tional%20Parts

anyway.....it plugs into the "boost" plug of the unit....but the problem is...how is this possible if i already have a boost sensor/harness connected....do i have to pick one and rid the other?....

I'm not sure as I haven't used the one I have yet.I'm under the impression that you could configure the MAF input with the software to read a afr ratio. The other part is you need a wideband that you can configure the "analog out" to match the emanage's voltage/afr look up table. Most of the widebands will do it(techedge, innovate, aem, dynajet, etc). The zeitronic(sp?) is one that doesn't and I think the entry level plx is another. If that's not the case the other thing you could do is hookup the map/boost sensor to the tps line. That's what most of the rx7 people do anyways as the S4 tps is like an on-off switch.
