riceracing to me seems to be stating facts, microtech supporters back themselves up with drag times.

you all seem to have your good points and are arguing about different things.

yes, microtech can produce the 1/4mile times. drag cars don't need such refinability
yes, autronic and motec does kickass. that's why they are used for track racing V8 supercars and such

the impotant hting is aftermarket ECUs are priced for what they are!

Anyway

opinions on EMS dualsport???
it seems to be in the bottom to mid-range ECUs, I regret it's missing closed loop, and stepper motor control.

how would u compare it to Haltech?

 

Joe at rotormaster runs this on his drag rx7, which for you drag guys out there is the fastest (time) electronicaly fuel injected rotary "car" in the southern hemisphere.

I do not know much about it personaly, I am going up ther next week to get a gearbox from him for our drag car we are in the process of building...I will get some info from him if you like?

I know he does not think much of the microtech system, that is why he changed? If there is more to it than that I do not know?.....but he has used both and chooses to not use microtech any more. Maybe they do not sponsor him as good as EMS
