Defi Gauge Connection Issues

Has anyone else experienced any issues with this? Seems like it just had a bad connection to the control unit, but no mater what I do I can't get a solid connection...

Boost gauge likes to go haywire and last night I lost my oil pressure gauge on my way home which had me sweatin bullets... Just want to see if anyone else has had issues. I like the gauges, but not sure if I should look into others..?

I think the first question is what have you done to troubleshoot?
Have you checked your power source?
Have you checked your grounds?

What do you mean by bad connection? Is the plug damaged in anyway?
What do you mean by haywire?

Connectors to the control unit. Just moving/jiggling, touching the wires will cause the gauges to move. Haywire as in go full from vacuum to 2 bar back down, up, down, up down etc. Not sure if the way it was set up previously stressed the connectors (pretty hard angle at the connector into the control unit) out and now maybe now its just causing a bad/lose connection. It's 100% the wire contact to the controller though.

My question I guess was more has anyone had this issue because if not then that basically just tells me the connectors are most likely worn and I can just buy new wires for $25... Typing this I realize that's probably the cheapest and easiest way to figure it out. I haven't messed with it to much but going through it all tonight. Bored at work and it was stressin me out so decided to reach out is all...

I ran Defi BF gauges in my last project car and recently bought a full set of 5 gauges and a link controller for my new one.....not cheap but worth every penny.

Point being they are very good quality gauges and I would have no hesitation buying more.

It sounds like the poor installation caused your issue.

Personally I would fix them or replace with more Defi units...bottom line I think their products are great

Thanks. I do really like them and with all the settings they offer I didn't want to get rid of them. Have their 60mm boost, water temp and oil pressure currently. I'm going to move the control unit and in the process should hopefully find the issue

so the issue is the pins on the motherboard. Tried searching and noticed this controller is no longer made. Tried to find pins to possibly solder new ones on to see if that would fix the issue but can't even find any to try that. Any suggestions or anyone possibly have or know someone with a controller they will sell?? It's the DEFI link Controller II
