Datalogit/wideband
I am really noob to tuning, when i get a new ECU i am hoping someone can help me tune it. I have searched, but nothing has really answered my question. With the datalogit for the PFC and or wideband, how does this help you tune? Do you just run them while driving and the new maps will be set automatically. Or do they just give you readings that you enter yourself.
With the PFC, using the Datalogit to read the AFR information into a datalog will allow you to see how rich or lean you are running at what temperature, injector duty cycle, etc.
Getting everything setup (hardware, software) now will allow you to do the most important part: make changes to the ignition, fuel, and other settings to reach your goals. This is the part that no one is going to tell you how to do easily. You have to get some experience doing this part. What changes will get you closer to your goal?

www.fc-datalogit.co.nz has the info - and links to the stores that sell them.
You will need to be pretty handy to run a wideband with the datalogging feature of tehis unit (first you have to get a wideband, install it etc.).
If you just want some wideband tuning, and don't want to deal with the tech and hardware - find a shop with a Dyno and a Wideband that knows about RX-7s.

Which wideband O2 sensor are you guys running for the datalogit. Glen and Steve are developing the datalogit for JDM GenIII MR2's using my PFC for development. I would like to use the same O2 as you guys in case I have questions, without worrying about calibration or different part issues. I realize that our engines are apples and oranges, and the AFR's used for tuning may vary based on safe conditions, but this would be the case regardless for a stock RX7 compared to a 450hp RX7. I can't wait to start using it. Any suggestions on this? Thanks
