Couple FCON questions

I've read a lot of Fcon threads but can't find the answer to my questions. Do you have to run the HKS FCD with the Fcon or will any FCD work? Can anyone tell me what the internal switches are supposed to be set at for an S5? I know how the rotary switch works but can't find anything on the other switches. I have a used unit and would like to verify the switch settings before use if possible. S5 stock turbine setup. Thanks!

I had the HKS FCON installed for a while. I don't think you need the FCD, this is an option so you don't get fuel cut. I also believe you can run any FCD you want cause it will just piggyback anyways but, easier just to get the HKS version. I'm not sure about all the internal switches but, the main one for fuel enrichment should be switched only when you can see EGT temps. It would also be good to know your AFR too. This is what the manual says. You can find more info on the FD3S (Lightning in the world of thunder) site about the FCON. I have full exhaust done with highflow cat on my FD with a mildly ported engine and I used setting 3. Oh, one more thing, all the other switches, I don't think anyone would have touched, not too sure but, of course more information on the condition of your used item would be good. I got mine used from Japan at www.rhdjapan.com and these guys if you email them might be able to help. They were a great help for me. Good luck.

I don't have mine installed yet, so I don't know about the lights.
