Can a Haltech guy help this Porsche guy?

My other car is a Porsche 944 Turbo and I also belong to a Porsche mailing list. Clark is looking to get a Haltech E6K but is having difficulty finding maps for his car. Can anyone here help him? Here is his message:

Hello all,

A few weeks ago, I queried the list with regard to engine management
systems. I got a great deal of responses which were very helpful but, I
still ended up doing a lot of research on my own.

I'm looking for an engine management system that is laptop programmable,
supports direct fire ignition, and has data logging capabilities. If I had
an unlimited budget, I'd probably go with Motec simply because there seems
to be a lot of support available. However, I'm trying to consider other
options in order to make more money available for other mods.

I have looked at a lot of different engine management systems
(Electromotive, Wolf, SDS, Accel DFI, Motec, Haltech, to name a few). While
I haven't made a final decision yet, the one that seems to best fit my needs
to this point is the Haltech E6K. I understand that a few 944 Turbo owners
have already installed E6Ks but, I can't seem to locate any to ask for
advice. The actual installation of the system doesn't concern me. I can
handle any modification or fabrication required. However, what does concern
me is the initial setup. I can't seem to locate ANYONE who can provide me
with an initial set of maps to get me to the dyno where I can complete the
setup. I'm not looking for a handout. I'd certainly be willing to purchase a
set of maps. It's just finding someone who can help me that's presenting
somewhat of a problem.

If you know anyone who's installed an E6K, individual or professional shop,
that can help me with an initial set of maps for a 2.8L with K27/8, I'd
appreciate it if you could pass along the information.

Again, I haven't made a final decision. However, one of the reasons I'm
leaning toward Haltech is that I've found very few negative comments from
folks who have tried their stuff. If anyone who's installed a stand alone
engine management system can offer some comparisons as to why they chose one
system over another, I'd love to hear them.

I don't want to flood the list with this thread again. So, if you'd respond
to me directly (off list) it would probably be better.

TIA,
Clark Fletcher

I recommend contacting DRT(Drag Racing Technoligies) they are located in Woodside, NY and have major experience in tuning Haltech in numerous vehicles, they also have a Porsche 911 Turbo street car that dynoed over 900HP to the wheels on Haltech. The website address is www.drtracing.com If you want someone to contact at DRT, ask for Raphly Estevez he's the owner and tuner there. He's responsible for alot of hard running cars, including a 593HP to the wheels street civic, and their 9 sec Honda drag car which BTW is the only Quick class 9 sec Honda running w/o NOS. The phone# is (718)-397-8586.
