Boost Timing Retard
I'm trying to figure out the most effective way of solving the pre-ignition problem before it happens, without dumping the cash on a standalone ecu. I looked at the msd system, and it seems as if I'll need to get 3 of them to control the 3 coils that I have?
Here's what I have so far:
An '88 with a N/A s4. My ultimate plans are 7 psi at the most. I won't be installing the turbo (which I have, with all the necessary piping and intercooler) until I have all the necessary equipment to do so. So far I have installed an Apex'i SAFCII, and an NGK powerdex air/fuel monitor with digital display. I haven't installed the Walbro 255lph pump yet, nor have I put in the 650cc injectors, but I have them for when the time is right.
Anyone have any viable suggestions?
