Why do you think you have a bad ignitor? aka: what made you start pulling wires? did I read right when you said you pulled a wire off a distributor? Are you sure you have an elecromotive? would this be better served in the 1st gen section?

I have a hunch you posted in the wrong forum. Give us more details about your car/engine management. If you had a TEC you wouldn't have a distributor.

**further more, your profile says you have an 85 gsl, they have no ECU. Ask a mod to move you

NP man, Get someone with real power to move you, or just post there. when you do get in the right section, answer my first paragraph.

And don't forget to read the new member forum, read tips for using the forum, and introduce yourself in the appropriate section. I have a haltech in my FB and really know little about distributors, but the 1st gen guys will get you straight. Good luck!

The reason why is because lack of power so I`m just trouble shooting also the top two spark plugs are clean like its not igniting and the coil closest to the battery is not throwing out any sparks.
