When I was NA I snapped some axles and twisted a driveshaft in half but that's about it.

I've had a turbo motor for a couple years now, and haven't really broken any drivetrain things. I have solid steel engine mounts, OE mazda trans mounts. The trans mounts do tear in half every few months but they're cheap and I feel like soft mounts might protect the trans a bit. I bought MazdaSpeed trans mounts now, so I'm gonna try those.

On the diff I have all factory mounts, which I think has maybe kept the nose mount alive? The diff moves a bunch when I clutch kick but maybe that's why the sheet metal hasn't torn on the subframe yet.

The turbo drivetrain is pretty reliable at the power level I'm at, I think.

Oh one thing is, if you're low your CV boots will tear against your diff mounts because they're at a really sharp angle, so you have to put new boots on sometimes or grind the diff mounts down so they don't hit.

The ****** bank dude, The ****** bank. Looking across the shop at my buddies 400hp SR 240 and knowing how much he has spent always makes me look at my FC like it's a daughter who I'm disappointed in for maxing out her credit card. But Everyone has a 240 so screw that noise.

So far I havent broken anything personally but I have only participated in one drift event and it was with a 240, I have only played in a few empty parkinglots with the rx7 but it is stock(aside from cutoff exhaust and short shifter) and I think the diff is faulty because it will lock sometimes when I slide it but only if I clutch kick... If I transition without clutch kicking(on throttle/lift and back on) only one tire will roast...
