s5 engine in s4 chassis electrical questions

Ok so I am currently building a straight track drift car. Anyways the inside it GUTTED it has a seat a steering wheel and 3 pedals a shifter and a E-brake turn signals head light switch and my tach. cluster that is it haha. So I know it takes a lot of wiring to do the S5 engine swap into a S4 chassis but I have really nothing to wire besides just the engine but I would have a S5 wire harness and ECU so would it pretty much be just like swapping into a gutted S5 or is there some things to consider?

full race car = standalone + painless harness.

you don't neeed none that. ditch it, get a haltech, a painless chassis harness kit, and call it a day with some gauges. stock ecu sucks.

I have a NA S4 chassis, a S4.5 wiring harness (N333) and a S5 TII engine. It all works fine

What is your car? TII or NA?

Running s5 t2 block with s4 t2 electronics with no issues. Heard s4 t2 timing maps are more aggressive though so in my tuning im going to be a little more conservative with afrs.

But I would recommend a haltech. I had one and it was pure sex haha. But you could do it with the s4 t2 ecu and electronics easily
