Roxanne: ksnew's fd3s build thread.
lol russ, it does line up. everything was half *** thrown on just to get an idea what it'd look like. I got 40w 4,000 lumen led lights for it, not being able to see is going to be the least of my worries lol.
true. But yeah, I have projector hid's in my combo lights too. those alone are enough to drive off of. Looks like I'm getting a set of kts coilovers for the car too, so yay for no more broke ghetto *** coilovers!
I'm not sure, I found these used. I put a deposit down on them, I'm waiting for my refund money to come in before I can get them though. Looks like I'm going to get a carbonetics 2 way too
Still better than what I had russ.. It was either get a set of nice new coilovers, or buy a nice set of used coilovers for 1/2 the price, and buy a new carbonetics 2 way.

Ordered a few more parts for the car today. Messed with the head light buckets a little more today too. they're almost ready for paint. just need to peel the plastidip off and fix a couple spots where it's low.

put my tie rod spacers on this evening and lowered the car in the front since I got new coilovers and will have to play with them anyways to get the fitment I want when I get the motor back in it.
been off of here for a while. here are some recent pics of things that have happened.

Still havent actually mounted the headlight buckets, they're just kinda propped up in place, that's why they're not gaped right.

Decided to make my other gauge pod less ghetto. Still haven't finished it, but here's the progress so far.
First I used expandable foam and shaped it back to the contour of the dash. Then I used spray adhesive and put a piece of fleece down to start the base of the gauge pod.

Then cut off the excess.

Applied resin

started shaping it once dried

cut out the shape of the gauge pod, and fiberglassed it in.

Just been shaping it the past day or so, hopefully I'll get it finished on my day off. then time to wrap it, or paint it, still haven't decided which to do.

well, harness is plugged in, ready to go, drained the old gas, double checked the pin out from where I re-pinned the harness, and plugged in the pcm. as long as all goes as planned, I should be starting this turd up for the first time in nearly two years!
Right on bro! I just got mine started up after 4 years ***** was so satisfying. Now I working out some kinks in the powersteering I blew the seal out if the rack cause the pump puttin out to much pressure. Question to u is did u have to restrict the flow in yours?
no idea lol. My rack is messed up. I just rock no ps. I have it all hooked up so it doesn't look ghetto but it doesn't do anything lol. I need to actually fix it so I can have it again.
I couldn't run the abs wheel sensors in the rear anyways since they can't be ran with the dual brake caliper kit, my abs harness was messed up from my wheel rubbing through the connector in the wheel well so it didn't work anyways, and because it give me more space in the engine bay at the back of the motor and on the passenger side.
