Rene(61620B)drifter 3 Rotor Rx7FC3 videos

Finally after months of putting this car together its finally out.Had my first actual
Race with my drifter Rx7 and felt pretty good about the handling and power......

I entered into the drift day competition for some seat time and didn't expect to
perform good on the technical tracks. We had to run 2 tracks, a short and a long
high speed track to get judged and scored ,but anyways we only had 5 practice runs for each track but never thought this Rx7 was so perfectly balanced with the monster 3 rotor engine on it....only set at 9 psi for this weekend and it was crazy fast ......gotta love the 3 rotor he he.My tune was a little off but manage to get 1st place on big high speed track and 3rd place over all for both tracks, pretty cool for Rx7 first time out .

Man the car seemed very smooth. Watching the video I was like I can tell it is strong but where is the high rpm screaming and tire smoke........then I read the post. Not much seat time, new car, and only 9lbs.... job well done.

I love that sound I want to do a three rotor badly but not right now.

I saw his car out there at the track for that test n tune .....he is lucky to have a tire sponsor......new tires make alot of smoke......i ran with used cheap tires for competition and there was hardly any smoke but it spins the tires like crazy. He also uses a semi clutchless HKS tranny,if you can get the car to shift when your sideways its the **** and more smoke....ive seen him shift like 2 gears on a turn and its hard to do that not loosing your momentum.

Try to shift a worn out Turbo 2 tranny, thats what i have and its hard to get into gears when you shift in between.....so sometimes i have to ride out one gear so i wont miss any gears during the run.....but i will have a better tranny soon.

Ive been giving rides,i been telling you guys for the longest.......you guys never call me.I am at Riverside most of the time at the tracks..

Get some good 275/40/18s in the rear and more petal to the metal to get that d1 smoke..

I have 255/40/17s re01s with 40psi in the rear in my sig pic.. good tires make a huge difference, more grip = more speed, more smoke

glad to see the monster is finally done Rene!!!

yeah I know how you feel about the worn out t2 tranny... I have the same problem, its hard to upshift 2nd-3rd middrift keeping it spinning.I need my tranny rebuilt too.. my tranny feels like a limp dick

thanks everyone.......G force 2000,that would be funny.I like the idle too, that overlap from the Semi-Port gives that nice brap brap brap sound. The Semi P's are doing really good for this type of setup....i can lift complete off throttle and modulate easy without any hick ups,i also like the
quick spool up on the engine with fast response.I run a Microtech LT12s for this setup and 6 injector on 100 octane.

THis is Mad mike with the tranny and the 4 rotor......that is so nice of a set up...
