Pinion snubber preload.

Anyone doing this with good results. Just curious of what i'll expect. I predict not shearing my diff mount. I dont have any suspension bushings done in the rear end but dtss. Just the snubber. I think it's all i need really.

The way I figured pre-load is to space the snubber with one big washer on top(spread load), and two on the bottom. My snubber is makeing contact with the diff when my car is on the ground.

My results on the streets is that when I initiate, my rear end isn't that bumpy. My tires stay flat. I'm N/A, so I really like it. I haven't changed my rear bushings yet either.

Thanks bro! Just the answer i was looking for. I mean, i've seen a couple of people suggest it and how to install it but i never recalled seeing if people left space or let it rest on the diff. Never saw any reasoning other than "it keeps you from breaking your front diff mount".

You can flip your subframe mounts and they will act the same as solid bushings too if you didn't know. I'm talking about the round guys towards the front of the car.

That's too much work. I'd just rather fill the bastards in with window weld but thanks for the tip. Knowing my luck i'd rip them all to hell trying to get them out of the subframe. I seem to break everything i touch.
