over fenders

so i picked up some bad *** 17x8.5 -6 wheels. running 225-45 tires and as you guys can imagine i now have clearance issues. i have rolled and pulled the front and rear but it doesnt look so hot and i may be selling this thing when the economy turns so with that said will for sure be getting the 20mm front fenders but as far as the rear goes...

what would you do?

i have maxed out the camber up front. waiting for camber in the rear and have probably pulled the fenders at least 20mm and my car is too high for my liking and i can barely fit a credit card between the tire and fender

then you should buy 30mm foresight fenders from shine auto and throw on a 20 or 25mm spacer up front

the rears in my opinion look stupid with overfenders and 17's, i would only do 18's with overfenders. but i know some people would disagree, so thats up to you i guess. i would just stick with the roll in the rear with those wheels

It's all in the offset.

Measure how far your wheels stick out past the fenders THEN order overs.

People who run '45' side wall complain about clearance.

Get 215/40

Roll and Camber, overfenders for 8.5 -6 is overkill and will be sunk again.

yeah i was thinking i have to go 215 (but that seems a bit small) to not run overfenders. 40 seems a bit thin to me though. ill get a set of both and try them both out. free tires so its not a big deal.

that wont work because my car has to be raised to clear first so i have to cover up 2" of tire but when i lower it, because of camber, its going to be substantially less.

8.5s?
fail
sell them. the fact that they are negative offset does not make them suck dick any less.

and buy real wheels, you can buy wheels w/ +20 offset as long as the width is 10.5

i know I love my 17x10s +12 with 30mm spacer =-18up front.... so much more grip... Just get some used pair of Fn01s.. you can usually get em for under $300 a pair on www.zilvia.com... and Ican vouch for these wheels, they are fucken durable as crazy stone..

can you post pics? it fits but only barely and sidewall flex and suspension movement makes it rub. not to mention that its still 2" too high at least.

also i would like to thank everyone for their kind comments.
